A driver and passenger escaped with only minor injuries after their lorry overturned on the M6.
The Nicholls Transport lorry fell onto its side between J41 and J42 of the motorway in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called at 2.30am to reports of a lorry falling off the road and onto its side.
It is not yet clear how the crash occurred, but there were no other vehicles involved in the incident.
The two suffered only minor injuries and were treated at Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
