Work to repair the heating at a new trampoline park in Carlisle will start this week.

The new Energi Trampoline Park on the city's Willowholme Industrial Estate, has had a few problems with the heating in the last couple of weeks but has still been open for people to bounce.

A spokesman for Energi said on Facebook: "As you are aware, the building has been colder than we intended.

"Firstly, our heating is getting fixed this week, and will be up and running hopefully for weekend.

"We are also installing a brand new roof which will make the upstairs area lovely and warm.

"However, installing the roof is causing a slight disruption this week, and some areas of the park and cafe area "may" need to be closed off for very short periods.

"Please bear with us. The benefits will be well worthwhile."

The centre, on Millrace Road, opened at the start of December.

It was opened by George Sampson, past winner of Britain's Got Talent.

It features a range of attractions including a 12-metre climbing wall, basketball hoops and a Ninja Warrior-type assault course.
