EMERGENCY services in Carlisle were called to a two vehicle crash on the A69.
Shortly before 4pm today, police and fire crews were called to the scene, which was between Warwick Bridge and Brampton.
There were no injuries as a result of the crash and firefighters closed the road as a result.
Fire crews used oil absorbent pads, to stop oil leaking into the drains and made sure the vehicles were safe.
The team were at the scene for about 20 minutes.
