Thief disturbed during West Cumbria burglary
A thief was disturbed during a burglary in a West Cumbrian village in the early hours of yesterday.
Police are appealing for information after the burglar entered a property at The Square, Allonby, at around 2am via an unlocked front door.
Officers believe the burglar was disturbed and left with just a small amount of tobacco and cigarette papers.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC 2257 Graham on 101, quoting incident number 106 of January 15, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
