A teenager has qualified as one of the country's youngest Moky instructors - while simultaneously studying for her A Levels.

Charlotte Tollman, 18, is in her final few weeks at Keswick School, where she has been studying English Language, History and Politics.

As if that were not enough, in between studying for her A Level exams, Charlotte, who has applied for an apprenticeship with the civil service in Whitehall, decided to get another qualification under her belt.

"I've been doing Moky, a dance based exercise class, for the past three years," explained Charlotte.

"I love it, it really got me into exercising.

"I was going through my A Levels and really wanted to do something for me, so decided to do the Moky teacher training."

Since qualifying in March, the teenager has set up weekly classes in her home village of Bothel, as well as hosting sessions in Maryport, Workington and Portinscale.

"It's been great teaching people and seeing how much they get out of it.

"Anyone can do it, you simply decide how much you want to push yourself," said Charlotte.

"I started when I was in Year 10 and not into fitness.

"It gave me such a buzz though and I got fitter and fitter. I'm now training for a half marathon."
