Music lovers are invited to an evening of entertainment at Keekle Village Hall.

Just Steve (Steve Byrne) will be performing this Friday, supported by Willow Jarvis and Caitlin Swanston. Doors open at 7pm.

Steve sings a wide range from sixties to modern day music. He has around 30 years experience in the music industry, and has performed in duos and also as a solo act.

He says he performs a range of songs from Matt Monro to Meatloaf.

Support act Willow has focused on music since her first year at secondary school.

She said: "Big influences on my music began through musical theatre and then artists such as Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift greatly influenced me due to their songwriting which led me to writing my own songs.

"I often sing songs that come under the pop/indie category and throw in a few classics."

Willow has entered numerous competitions which has included reaching the semi finals of Open Mic UK and the finals of Northern Star. She has also taken part in charity events for KatyCan and Soundwave Cumbria.

"It's great to be back at Keekle Village Hall again where I enjoyed singing to a lovely audience last year," she added.

Tickets cost £5 on the door. Those attending are invited to "bring their own tipple".
