Police are searching for a man following Sunday's armed attack on a Whitehaven housing estate.
Curtis Kirkbride, 27, of Kinniside Avenue, Whitehaven, is wanted in connection with the incident which occurred on Windermere Road in which the windscreen of a vehicle was smashed with an unknown implement.
He is also wanted in connection with a report of a domestic assault on the same day in which a woman suffered serious facial injuries.
Cumbria Constabulary is appeal to members of the public to assist with locating this man and would urge anyone with information about his whereabouts or any sightings to call 999.
They also advise the public to "exercise caution" due to the nature of these offences.
Officers had been called to Windermere Road at about 8.30pm on Sunday. Residents were urged to stay indoors during the incident which saw an armed police response.
