Rescuers rushed to the aid of a 75-year-old man after he became exhausted on a Lake District fell.
Keswick Mountain Rescue Team were called at 6.03pm on Saturday when the man began to struggle and got stuck just below Slape Crag on Barf, near Bassenthwaite Lake.
The rescue team sent seven members to the incident, who reached the man in about 40 minutes. They helped him down to the road using a short roping method.
Once down, the man was able to use his own transport to get home.
