Rail passengers travelling between Carlisle and Whitehaven have been faced with disruption this morning.
Northern Rail said signalling problems meant the 06:24 service from Whitehaven to Carlisle was terminated at Workington.
The issue has also affected the 07:37 service from Carlisle to Whitehaven, due at 8.47am, which will instead be started from Workington.

The 7:37 will no longer call at Carlisle, Dalston, Wigton, Aspatria, Maryport and Flimby.
On it's website the operator said: "We are very sorry for the delay this will cause to your journey."
The 6:46 service from Maryport to Barrow, due at 8.45am, has been delayed at Workington and is now expected to be 20 minutes late.
