Police have issued a warning to residents in rural areas following a recent spate of vehicle thefts.
They are urging people to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to officers immediately.
The latest was a theft of a quad bike and power tools from a farm at Mealsgate, near Wigton.
The full list of incidents is as follows:
- Red Honda quad bike and tools stolen from a farm in the Mealsgate area overnight on September 25.
- Red Honda quad bike stolen from a farm in the Anthorn area overnight on September 24.
- Thieves attempted to steal diesel from a tractor in the Aspatria area overnight on September 23.
- Ford Ranger pickup was stolen from a farm in the Aspatria area overnight on September 18. It was recovered the next day.
Police officers are urging people to be aware of these thefts and to take appropriate action to secure their own property.
