Pair charged with robbery after incident near Workington church
Two people have been charged after an alleged robbery near St Michael's Church in Workington.
Barry Woolf, 35, and Kelly Bonner, 26, of no fixed address, each face a charge of robbery.
Woolf is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon.
The pair appeared before magistrates in Workington today and will now be remanded in custody until they appear at Carlisle Crown Court on August 21.
