A busy McDonald's outlet has opened following a major revamp.
The branch at Kingstown, Carlisle, had been closed for several weeks as the building was overhauled, with the site stripped back and giant cranes being used to life a new part of the unit in.
The restaurant is the latest McDonald's outlet in the region to be given a "digital makeover", with touch-screens installed for customers to order their food.
Customers reported the branch as being busy throughout the weekend after it reopened late last week.
At the time of the upgrade being announced, a McDonald's spokeswoman said: “With innovations led by improving the customer experience, these major digital changes will benefit everyone."
