Man falls from mobility scooter down river bank
FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a man who had fallen down a riverbank from his mobility scooter in Cockermouth.
Crews from Cockermouth and Workington were called out to Harris Park, at 5.20pm today, to help the man who had fallen about a metre.
They handed him into the care of paramedics who were also at the scene.
