A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving 10 months after a fatal crash.
Stephen Farragher, 47, of Thirlmere Avenue, Workington, faces charges of causing the death of Audrey Tunstall, of Cape Road, Seaton, by dangerous driving.
He is also charged with causing serious injury to Natalli Fisher, 35, also of Cape Road, by dangerous driving.
The charges follow a crash outside Dunmail Park in Workington on October 22.
Mrs Tunstall and Miss Fisher were struck by a car as they crossed the busy A596.
Farragher is due to appear at magistrates' court in Workington on September 1.
