A man accused of stealing money from charity boxes at a Cockermouth pub appeared in court today.
Jamie Anthony Brownlee, 29, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to stealing the cash from The Bush Inn in April.
Appearing in front of judge Gerald Chalk at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington he admitted stealing other items including an iPod, a bank card and a jacket from the pub.
Brownlee also pleaded guilty to driving a car without a licence or insurance and admitted a charge of aggravated vehicle taking and two charges of receiving stolen goods - a tyre pressure gauge and garage door key.
He will be sentenced at Carlisle Crown Court on September 29.
