Major road that was blocked by stuck vehicle has reopened, say police
Cumbria Police has confirmed that the A591 at Bassenthwaite between Keswick and The Castle Inn has now reopened.
Earlier this evening, the force had tweeted that the road was blocked because a vehicle had become stuck. A spokeswoman declined to give any more details, but the force has now tweeted that the road is no longer blocked.
