The M6 has reopened following a crash earlier today.
A man escaped with minor injuries following the one-vehicle collision between Carlisle and Gretna.
The incident caused delays on the northbound carriageway, which had a lane closed and a 50mph speed limit in force.
Emergency services were called out at 11.15am.
The crash, involving a grey BMW, happened near to Blackford, just north of Carlisle.
A 33-year-old man from Manchester was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary with minor injuries.
The stretch of motorway between Junction 44 (Carlisle north) on the M6 and Junction 45 on the A74(M) at Gretna was affected.
