Rescuers rushed to the aid of a man who injured his shoulder after falling on a Lake District fell.
Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team was called on Sunday evening, when the 56-year-old walker fell three metres while descending Haystacks.
The casualty was stabilised by rescue team members before a Coastguard AW189 helicopter arrived to take him to Cumberland Infirmary.
A Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team spokesman said: "We are extremely grateful to them [the helicopter team] and to the members of the public who helped out today. We wish the injured walker a speedy recovery."
Other walkers had stopped to offer assistance and raise the alarm.
