Runners take off from Kingmoor Park
Hundreds of runners turned out to compete in a 10k race across the England Scotland border this morning.
More than 400 people signed up to take part in the annual X Border 10K organised by Mike James of Endurance Events.
It kicked off this morning from Kingmoor Park in Carlisle with the runners battling the elements to make it to the finish line in Gretna.
