Flu jabs day proves a hit in Maryport
Hundreds of people flocked to Maryport Rugby League Club for the town's annual flu jabs day.
Maryport Health Services held the event in the club on Mealpot Road, with eligible patients also able to receive the shingles vaccine.
Stalls promoting West Cumbria Carers, Age UK, Ewanrigg Local Trust, Hospice at Home West Cumbria and Sharing is Caring were also set up.
The flu vaccine will still be available from the surgery from next Monday to Friday, October 13 from noon to 1pm and 4.30pm to 5.30pm daily.
