Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on a key route near Carlisle.
Cumbria police and the North West Ambulance Service were called to Warwick-on-Eden, on the A69 at about 1pm.
The incident involved a white Ford Transit van driven by a man, 49, from Dalton-in-Furness, a blue Audi S3 and a grey Ford Focus driven by a 48-year-old man from Carlisle.
Highways England said there is congestion on the A69 on the outskirts of the city between the M6 junction and the A689 at Brampton.
