Candidates have been announced for two elections in Copeland next month.
Voters will be going to the polls for the election of a Copeland councillor for the Egremont South ward and a parish councillor for the Newtown ward of Millom Town Council.
Both elections will take place on Thursday, November 2.
Candidates for the role in Egremont South are Jeff Hailes, of Montreal Place, Moor Row, for the Conservatives and Tom Higgins, of Fellview Drive, Egremont, for Labour.
Going head-to-head for the Millom Town Council post will be Pauline Altree, of Cook Road, Millom, for the Conservatives, and Karen Jackson-Smith, of Palmers Lane, Millom, who is standing as an independent.
