A Maryport man has been banned from driving after being caught behind the wheel with drugs in his system.
Barry Alan Hyslop, 41, of Grasslot, was caught driving a BMW on the town's Wood Street with cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine in his blood.
Hyslop appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington yesterday and admitted the offence.
He was banned from driving for 12 months and told to pay a £140 fine, £150 Crown Prosecution Service costs and a £30 surcharge.
