A Cockermouth dentist will open his new practice next month.
Derwent Dental Care has outgrown its existing premises on Kirkgate. Owner Paul Rowlands is set to open his new premises in Derwent House, Wakefield Road, on October 26.
The top floor of the building is being converted to provide space for the practice's four dentists and four hygienists, with lift access from the ground floor.
Derwent House Orthodontics will remain on the first floor.
The building used to be occupied by Derwent House Surgery until it moved to the town's hospital.
Mr Rowlands, who opened Derwent Dental Care, has applied to Allerdale council for permission for change of use of his Kirkgate building back to a house.
