Delays on M6 after car and trailer overturn
Motorists travelling north into Cumbria have been warned to expect delays this evening.
A car and trailer have overturned within junction 29, for the M65.
Delays of up to an hour-and-a-half are affecting motorists between junction 27 for Standish and junction 29, in Lancashire.
Highways England said that the carriageway is currently blocked but traffic is being diverted using the exit and entry sliproads at the junction.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for their journey.
