Original music created by a Cumbrian band will be played to millions of people tonight as they make their debut on BBC Radio 1.
It could be the big break that four-piece group Flynt are looking for as they bid to reach the top of the music industry.
Their track Julia will appear on Radio 1's Introducing Show with Huw Stephens tonight (WED) . The programme runs from 10pm to 1am.
The band, who describe themselves as an indie-pop group, is made up of Brad Kavanagh, 24, from Troutbeck, near Penrith, Emma Dockeray, 22, from Whitehaven, Steven Norman, 25, from Whitehaven, and 23-year-old Calvin Thornborrow, from Lowca.
Brad told the News & Star : "It's pretty amazing. We never expected something like this to happen.
"You've always got things like that in your sights and we were working towards it but we were just shocked it has happened now."
The song was submitted to BBC Cumbria's Introducing show only a month ago but producers were so impressed with the track it was sent to their flagship programme. It will now be released for fans.
The band has been together for two years but decided to change their name to Flynt in January.
