A woman has been fined after failing to provide a breath specimen after being suspected of being above the drink-drive limit.
Vita Nikitina, 35, of Wasdale Close, Cockermouth, was taken to Workington Police Station on August 26 because police suspected she had been in charge of a vehicle with excess alcohol in her system.
But she refused to comply with the breath test requirements.
Nikitina appeared before District Judge Gerald Chalk at West Cumbria Magistrates Court and admitted the offence.
She was fined £125 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
She had her driving licence endorsed with 10 penalty points.
