Solway Coast
The Coastguard was alerted to a report of two people cut off by the tide and lost on the Solway coast.
CGOC Belfast Coastguard was contacted at 5.40pm on Saturday regarding the incident near Eastriggs.
Burgh-By-Sands Coastguard Rescue Team attended and supported Annan Coastguard Rescue Team.
"The casualties were initially found by helicopter but refused assistance," reported Burgh-By-Sands Coastguard.
"We were stood down at the scene with Annan Coastguard Rescue Team making contact with the casualties."
