An artist who set out to create a display of 2,017 poppies in time for Remembrance Sunday is putting the final touches to her project.
Abigail Kilfedder, who runs artscool, asked community groups and schools to help her make the poppies.
They are now hanging in St Michael's Church in Stanwix, Carlisle.
The poppies are made from red muffin cases, stickers and cardboard and then attached to wool.
Abi, a former art teacher at William Howard School in Brampton, was inspired by the installation at the Tower of London 'Blood Swept Land and Seas of Red' where 888,246 ceramic poppies were created and planted - each representing a British military fatality during World War One.
She said: "I am delighted with the result and thank everyone who helped make the poppies."
