Children's charity targeted by thieves
A safe was stolen from a children's charity in Cockermouth over the weekend.
An unknown offender gained entry through the front door of The Children's Society, in Main Street, sometime between 5pm on Saturday and 8.30am on this morning, and made off with the safe which contained a sum of money.
