Police are appealing for witnesses after an ATM was stolen from Aldi in Whitehaven.
The machine was taken from the building, at the town's Preston Street before 4.48am.
It is the third ATM in West Cumbria to be targeted since September, after similar incidents in Aspatria and at Brewers Fayre in Cockermouth.
Police are not currently linking the three incidents but are following all lines of enquiry.
They are appealing for any witnesses that may have seen any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Inspector 1680 Gemma Hannah on 101, quoting log number 34 of October 17, email 101@cumbria.police.uk or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
