A vigil will be held in Carlisle tomorrow night to pay respect to the victims of the Grenfell fire disaster and those affected by the Finsbury Park terrorist attack in London.
People will gather at the Market Cross in the city centre at 5.45pm to commemorate the lives lost and pay respects to those affected.
Organiser Fiona Goldie said: "We hope that the local community will join us in remembrance and in our hope for peace and security.
"Flowers will be laid by the Cathedral East window following our event."
Similar events have taken place in London and Manchester.
