A man from Carlisle who was banned from entering any Greggs shop in the city has been jailed - after going into a store and threatening staff by putting his fingers to his head and imitating a gun.
Paul Nigel Dickinson, 47, was handed the ban by a judge at Carlisle's magistrates' court on Monday, following an alleged incident the previous day.
Just hours after being handed the ban, Dickinson, of Port Road, went to the Scotch Street branch of Greggs and threatened a member of staff while standing in the doorway.
District judge Gerald Chalk was also told that on Tuesday he entered McDonald's in Scotch Street and threatened staff there after ordering a meal and his card payment was refused.
He told the staff member he "owned McDonalds and he wanted the meal" or the staff member “would be sacked".
He pleaded guilty to two public order charges.
The judge jailed Dickinson for 56 days and he must pay a victim surcharge of £115.
