Dawid Kancyr, 28
A body has been found in the search for a missing man on England's highest peak.
Dawid Kancyr, 28, was last seen out walking at Wasdale Head, at the foot of Scafell Pike, at around 4.30pm on Saturday.
A major search was launched yesterday after he failed to return.
Police and mountain rescue volunteers have now confirmed that they have recovered a body.
Missing Polish national Mr Kancyr had been living in Warwickshire.
The body has yet to be formally identified.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers would like to thank the public who shared the appeal for help finding Mr Kancyr.
