Appeal following attempted burglary in Carlisle
Police are investigating an attempted burglary in the Raffles Avenue area of Carlisle.
A young man, dressed all in black, was disturbed by a resident as he attempted to enter his property, near Heysham Park, at about 5.30am on Tuesday, July 18.
Officers are warning people to be vigilant and to ensure their properties are secure.
Anyone with information should call 101 and ask to speak to PC Lucy Hesketh or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
