LIBERAL Democrat, Independent and Labour councillors make up the new Eden council executive.
The seven-strong team is led by Lib Dem Virginia Taylor, with Independent Mary Robinson as deputy and holding the commercial services portfolio.
The resources portfolio goes to Appleby councillor Karen Greenwood, who is also part of the Independent Group, as is services portfolio holder Mike Tonkin, who represents the Morland ward.
Labour Lissie Sharp, who represents Alston Moor, is the new communities portfolio holder, while Judith Derbyshire, the Lib Dem councillor for Dacre, takes on housing and health.
The final executive post goes to Lib Dem Mark Rudhall, ward councillor for Penrith North.
He will be responsible for the authority’s Eden Development portfolio.
