Two men are to be sentenced by a judge next month after they admitted a number of offences, including a commercial burglary.

Carl Keith Millar, 21, and 27-year-old James Moray Broughton appeared at Carlisle Crown Court over two separate video links from custody this morning.

Millar and Broughton both admitted the burglary of a business premises in the Cotehill area near the city, between October 2 and 5.

Millar further admitted stealing two bottles of wine - and Broughton one - belonging to the Golden Fleece.
