A CARLISLE indie band are to perform a free gig in the city tonight (Thursday, October 11).
Sugarspun will play an intimate acoustic set at Institute Menswear, on St Cuthberts Lane, between 6pm and 8pm.
The five-piece - comprising of Jamie McGraw (vocals and writer), Steven Dixon (guitar and writer), Michael Smith (guitar), Luke Bell (bass) and Andy Graham (drums) - will do a live performance of their new single Will It Be This Way Forever?
Since forming two years ago, the band have sold out shows in major citiies across the UK, purely off the strength of their demos and word of mouth alone.
Shop owner Richard Creary told the News & Star: "Join us in store for an intimate live acoustic set performed by Sugarspun as well as drinks, food and the chance to browse our latest arrivals from Pretty Green, SikSilk, NICCE and more.
"Entry is free and we hope to see you there."
