TWO men have been arrested after a man was found dead at a house in Wigton.
Michael Jackson, 40, of West Street, died on Monday night after ambulance crews were called to his house.
A 43-year-old man from Wigton and a 22-year-old man from Carlisle have been arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs and are helping police with their inquiries.
A police spokesman said: “The ambulance crew called for our assistance at 8pm on Monday. One man (Mr Jackson) was pronounced dead at 8.50pm and another man was conscious and talking but giving cause for concern.
“Initial indications show that the death may well be drug related.”
The coroner has been informed of the death.
