ORGANISERS of the Status Quo gig in Whitehaven this summer are looking for volunteer roadies.
Quo play the Recreation Ground on August 2 and the search is now on for people to help the band.
The International Festival Company says volunteers would need to be physically fit and have some experience of roadying.
Promoter Gerard Richardson said: “Roadies, with their backstage access, often have the most unique memories after gigs like this and we would love to throw the opportunity open to locals.”
Anyone wishing to apply should do so by email only to gerard@thefestival.org.uk.
n Gig ticket are available from www.ticketline.co.uk.
