Street brawl stops west Cumbrian town centre traffic

Two men brought traffic to a standstill while fighting in a Whitehaven street.
The men got into a brawl on the junction between King Street and Duke Street on Thursday, November 27.
Police said the men were in a scuffle outside Whittles department store at about 1.30pm. They ended up in the road, bringing passing traffic to a halt.
One man was middle-aged with shaved dark hair, with a bald patch down the centre. He was wearing dark clothing, had a scruffy appearance and many tattoos.
The second man was 5ft 5ins, of slim build, wearing a camouflage jacket.
