WHITEHAVEN’S Disney star, Brad Kavanagh will be appearing in the channel’s latest show next week.
The new series, Undercover Coach, follows four British celebrities from the world of singing, dancing and musical performance as they surprise young and enthusiastic wanna-be stars at their homes to offer them advice on their favourite performing arts.
The episodes will feature advice from music and dance mentors.
Next Friday’s episode will feature Brad, 15, who lives at Richmond, Whitehaven.
Future episodes will see the cast of the UK tour of High School Musical – Live On Stage, street dancer and winner of Britain’s Got Talent, George Sampson and MOBO Awards and Q Awards winner, Jamelia take on the roles of Disney Channel’s undercover coaches.
Each show will see the stars mentoring a young performer from a singing, dancing or musical background, and offering them a wide range of advice from technical skills, public performances, voice control, as well as an insight into what it takes to be successful in the entertainment industry today.
Passionate singer/songwriter, Hayley Smith, 13, was surprised at home by Disney Channel UK star Brad Kavanagh.
The star of As The Bell Rings challenged Hayley to join him in a rendition of Here I Am from the hit Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock, which Brad himself covered.
At the end of the show, Brad dared Hayley to perform the song in front of her entire family and hundreds of thousands of viewers.
The episode airs on Friday November 28 at 4pm on Disney Channel.
