Flood warnings were in place in west Cumbria this morning.
High tide at Dubmill Point, near Allonby
A car was submerged in water after heavy tides blew in at Dubmill Point Allonby, near Maryport, last night.
The Environment Agency issued a flood warning – one of the most serious flood alerts – out for Keswick after the campsite flooded from the nearby lake.
They also put a flood watch on the Upper Derwent from Seathwaite to Derwent Water.
The Met office reported that today there will be sunny spells, but also showers, some of these heavy with a risk of hail and perhaps thunder, especially for Cumbria.
Tonight there will be showers in places with a touch of frost during the night.
