THREE people were arrested after a mob of up to 30 gathered in a Carlisle street.
The three – two women and a man – were arrested on suspicion of public order offences after a disturbance in Oaklands Drive, Upperby, on Monday night.
A police spokesman confirmed that they were called to the scene at around 9.20pm when a group of between 20 and 30 people were ‘creating a disturbance’. There were no reports of any injuries.
The three were later released on bail pending further inquiries.
