MG Motor UK is celebrating continued success in 2017, after achieving record registrations for March. Figures released today by The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) show a 30% rise compared to the same month in 2016.

Matthew Cheyne, Head of Sales and Marketing at MG Motor UK, believes this continued success is down to MG's ongoing focus on dealer engagement and positive customer reception to its latest model range.

"We believe good business is about selling good value cars, while doing everything to look after dealers and customers," he says. "Other manufacturers make unreasonable demands on their dealer network, we don't. We listen and react to what our dealer colleagues are telling us they need so we can give them the tools to sell MG cars and look after their customers.

Overall, these sales figures show a good improvement on last year with a year-on-year increase of 173 additional registrations in March. It means that MG have now registered a total of 1,065 vehicles this year to date.
