Internet giant Google is bringing its Google Garage to Cumbria in a special event on cyber security for the county's businesses.
This will feature presentation from the corporation on cyber security and how the web can be used to grow a firm.
Alongside Google, several local organisations will also be at the event, which takes place at Carlisle College.
These include Connecting Cumbria, which aims to promote the benefits of getting online to both consumers and businesses, law firm Baines Wilson and Cumbria Constabulary.
Phil Ruston, from Connecting Cumbria, encouraged people to head along.
He said: "You do not get many opportunities to speak to Google. If you do not know how Google operates, you do not know how to get the best out of it."
Mr Ruston also pointed out that 92 per cent of properties in the county have access to superfast broadband.
