BUSINESSES still have the chance to get their entries in for to the chance to win a fantastic £10,000 advertising campaign and support package courtesy of CN Group, publisher of in-Cumbria Magazine.

We have joined forces with the chartered accountant Lamont Pridmore and law firm Bendles Solicitors to offer free advertising, mentoring and support to enterprises which show growth potential as part of our Business Boost initiative.

Applications are invited in two categories. One for new businesses up to five years old, and one for established businesses of any age with fewer than 250 employees.

Business reporter Duncan Bick said: "I really would urge anyone with dreams of bigger things, with ambitions for growth and success, to consider entering."

A total of six businesses will win £10,000 to spend on advertising in our newspapers and associated websites – there will be one winner from each category for north, west and south Cumbria.

Last year’s winners in north Cumbria were Cumbrian Stone, in Penrith, and Bruce and Luke's Coffee in Carlisle. In west Cumbria, winners were Hills Books of Workington and Cockermouth beauty salon Pure Touch.

Entries close on Friday, March 31. For more information visit newsandstar.co.uk/businessboost .
