Woman rescued from fell after suspected heart attack

A 52-year-old woman was rescued from Thornhow End, near St Sunday Crag this afternoon.
Members of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called to help the woman who was feeling cold and unwell.
Two passing walkers came across the woman and her husband at 5.30pm today. The symptoms reported suggested she may have been having a possible heart attack.
A rescue Land Rover was on the scene within 10 minutes and the woman was taken to Patterdale Mountain Rescue Centre where she was assessed by an ambulance crew.
The rescue was completed within 20 minutes.
