M6 wrong-way driver new to UK

A man who died after driving the wrong way on the M6 had only recently arrived from the Czech Republic.
Jan Jenco, 22, was killed after his car collided with a Renault Espace just south of junction 42 on Saturday, March 8. The driver of the Espace, a 48-year-old woman from Glasgow, and her two sons aged four and 19, were injured.
Mr Jenco, who had hit up to 80mph in his Ford Focus, had been living in Hodder Bridge, Clitheroe.
A police spokesperson said the injured woman, who suffered multiple fractures in the crash, wass still in hospital but is no longer critically ill. The 19-year-old man was slightly hurt in the crash and the four-year-old suffered a broken arm.
