Torchwood – as you’ve never seen it before
Carlisle city centre has been used as a location for a new series of Torchwood episodes. A gun chase was staged at night through the Lanes shopping centre and Captain Jack was filmed running through the Hardwicke Circus subway in pursuit of alien killers. Unfortunately it wasn’t exactly Torchwood, the cult Doctor Who spin off, but a spoof created by Cumbria University students.
